Auction Barter Auction -- Two lots of Cortosis Ore

Well he figured he might as well do something with it.

Cortosis was a fancy ore, he'd give it that. And while he was a journeyman in metallurgy and on his way towards his goal of mastership, he had no idea what to do with two crates of cortosis.

So, he decided to do what he could do.

Sell the crates at auction.

Time to see who would bid a trade for what.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Lot A: Lot of Cortosis Ore acquired during the Dominion of Apatros.
Lot B: Lot of Cortosis Ore acquired during a devastating defeat by a Force user.
This won't be done for credits; instead these lots would be sold via the barter system. Offer me something to trade for them!
This auction will end in three days on August 9th, at 11:59 p.m. EST.
Much as Micah had done at her Auction, Triam Akovin sat a table bemused by the proposition, as the first bids were sounded off.
She would like to put the idea in her head, that she was the one to convince him to do this, but she knew truthly she did nothing of the sort. Looks like he did it of his own volition, probably.
How he got Cortosis on his hands without her, was beyond her level of thinking at the moment... she may have been a bit hammered. Was she allowed to be hammered? She rightfully didn't know, something to ask the Brat Pack leadership she supposed... and then promptly completely ignore.
"Hey Micah... am I... am I allowed to be drunk?"
Rather blunt.
“Like a Mud-fish,” Micah would quip out with bemused humor, his bright orange eyes panning from the woman with a mop of short blonde spiky hair. Oh he was sooo enabling, but that was okay. He was sure that [member="Triam Akovin"], being the business woman that she was, could hold her liquor.
Besides the hilarity that might ensue was well worth it.
The first few barter bids came in, and it was enough to make him give a low whistle. Contrary to popular fourth wall breaking belief, Micah Talith wasn’t toting a platinum spoon. There was plenty he didn't have. His father may have the wealth of a Moross God, but his mother made it quite clear that they were not getting handouts. Maybe that had to do with the constant credit counting and saving his mother drilled into him. For one who had grown with nothing, she had imparted the importance of a credit saved is a credit earned.
… However, much like his father, Micah realllllly liked a few toys.
For the most part, Micah’s travels had granted him the opportunity to work for extra cash flow. Not in the sense most would figure, but that of a wanderer and procurer of rare items. His training with his Oma with beasts allowed the teenager to become an excellent tracker and guide. Combine that with the use of the Force towards such abilities and his growing Journeyman ways in alchemy and Force imbuing, he wasn’t doing too bad for himself.
Having auctions like this would get him and the Covenant something to look forward to.
“Hey Ri,” Yes. He called Triam, ‘Ri’, and yes… it was on purpose. Yes, it was meant as a friendly nickname. Oh Micah with his nicknames.
“What do you think of the vehicles?” needless to say he was quite impressed. Granted, anything more than a speeder meant the Talith would go crashing down.
Blame that curse. Only Kai had been able to get out of that one.
Kass, an Auroran knight, did not own much in the way of luxuries. Her access to credits was restricted exclusively to her need for it and her allowance minimal. A competent apprentice alchemist herself, Kassidy was familiar with the properties of cortosis and could think of several different uses for the material, which was more than enough to draw her to attend the auction.
So far, the recurring theme for bidding was vehicles. Knowing almost nothing about the individual to which the cortosis belonged or what utilities they could make use of, Kass' best offer was an Ani'jarkiv limousine belonging to her mistress, production number seventy-seven, shipped from Coruscant to a location of the owner's choosing. Always a quiet girl, she did not announce the bid, but transmitted it through her cybernetic communication uplink. How else would mutes participate?
Had only she any way of knowing that [member="Micah Talith"] was a journeyman artisan like herself, she might have offered shared access to the lab where she practices and the nexus below.
The auction would come to a close with little flare, but Micah was happy none the less.
There were a good few bids, and because of that the teenager had to decide. While the limosine was certainly an interesting offer, he didn't quite see the benefit for him now.
Choices made, Lot A would be won by [member="Darth Metus"]. Lot B to [member="Sanya Val Lerium"] for their offered bartered trade.
All in all, it was a good trade.
OOC!
Auction is closed! Thank you for participating!
