Description: Much like the duo of the Imperial and the Victory Star Destroyer back in the days of the Galactic Empire, the Avarice-Class Star Destroyer was built with the idea of being a support ship for the Invictus-class Star Destroyer. Augmented with lesser weaponry, but faster speed than the Invictus, the Avarice could unleash swarms of Nexus Fighters out to engage the enemy, and hold its own against Frigates, but not Capital Ships. It also had an array of Point-Defense laser cannons to accurately pluck bombers out of the space around it.

The Invictus has more ground forces than a fighter complement, they just added a minimal portion of ground forces but a larger number of fighters because the Avarice is meant more as a support vessel than an invasion vessel.
