Strengths:
Modularity: Like its cousin the much faster cousin the AT-360 the AT-120 is designed to be extremely easy to upgrade, tune up, and change to the owners needs. This has become standard practice in this line of ships, and almost every single part of the AT-120 is easily accessible and changeable.

Arms&Armor: Unlike its cousin the AT-360 the AT-120 is designed to be quite survivable under fire. It is both heavily armored, and in kind has a quite powerful suite of weapons onboard. Four forward facing Laser Cannons decorate the front of the engine pods, complementing them in the rear of the ship were two quad laser cannon turrets, each one controlled by a gunner. With these weapons it is entirely possible the AT-120 can fight off entire squadrons of Pirate Raiders without sustaining too much damage.

Weaknesses:
Acceleration: Oddly enough, though the AT-360 had become famed for its speed this ship is the exact opposite. Its engines were not built for fast thrust and acceleration, instead they required time to build up. Though the four large engine pods provided enough energy to tug along its heavy cargo pods the ship itself was not at all fast, even when it ejected the pods.

Maneuverability: The AT-120 was similarly lacking in maneuverability. The ships four massive engines and two small tail thrusters were the only thing that powered the ship and due to its design it was simply not feasible to maneuver quickly or effectively.

Description:
After Haven Shipyards released the now fairly popular AT-360 they began to receive complaints that the ship was only suited to one type of roll, that of a fast delivery craft or things of that nature and that most people simply didn't need that much speed. The Arceneau Trade Company, parent company of Haven Shipyards, always diligent of how it interacted with customers immediately ordered a new type of ship to be built, one that suited a heavier Freighter roll as well as a better defensive ship.

The AT-120 was quickly born. At firs glance the ship appeared to be little more than another Standard Freighter. Four laser cannons, two twin Laser Cannon turrets, and enough room for several passengers as well as the crew.

Upon closer inspection however a unique feature can be found on the AT-120, one that is surprisingly desirable in the markets of the underworld. Surrounding the main body of the AT-120 are its four engine Pods, each of these engine pods house an engine, and a large attachment. These attachments are in fact massive cargo containers that through repulsor lifts get hoisted onto the ship where they then attach through a series of hooks, cables and clamps. These massive Cargo containers are the AT-120's Cargo Bay. The main body of the ship houses only the Bridge, crew cabin, weapon bubbles and of course the living spaces.

The addition of external cargo bays is not a new one in the galaxy, with several older ships having the same design. The AT-120 however has the unique ability to detach these Cargo Pods while in flight. Detaching the pods makes the ship quite a bit lighter, enhancing its speed and maneuverability. It also has the added benefit of giving the AT-120 certain unique abilities within the criminal underground.

Additionally, many of the components of the AT-120 including the external cargo pods are quite easy to change. Like the other ship of its line the AT-120 was designed to suite the Buyer. Thus, nearly every part of the ship is easy to upgrade and change. Many have already pre-purchased the AT-120, planning to replace the External Cargo Pods with weapon mounts or additional other functioning equipment.

All in all, though the AT-120 looks somewhat bland, it has many interesting features that those with a more...wandering mind might find interesting.

Alright honestly nothing seems wrong with this submission at all. . . . .but are you sure you want it to be that slow and unmaneuverable?

I understand you have quite a bit more cargo, but still that's pretty slow and clumsy. You could bump them up a little I think. I would suggest 7 with 11-12 max for speed, and 13-15 for maneuverability if you're going for this sort of theme with the design. And that's still pushing it maybe.

This visual gives an idea on everything maybe if you haven't seen?

For some reason i had it in my head that the number scaled with the type of ship you're building. IE Corvettes had a separate scale from 1-20 than fighters did, etc...

I have fixed this.

Yep. The ship is more meant to be modified for each individual use, hence the high modularity.
