Description
Derived from the Corellian phrase I Will Eat Your Ashes, Ash Eater is one of the more powerful swords that Miss Blonde has crafted. Ash Eater is a product of the dark side of the force, it's the culmination of greed, vengeance, kidnapping, and the cold blooded murder of two innocent men. Bathing in all of this darkness and pain, the blade was created and now it stands to be some of Blonde's finest work. But it's not for her, it was made with one specific person in mind. Her close friend Keira Ticon.

Strengths. Ash Eater comes with all your normal force imbued tricks. Deflect blaster fire, absorb lightning, block lightsabers (though the Beskar it's made of would of done that anyways), and of course the ability to strike and wound force entities such as demons, dream beasts, wraiths, spirits, etc etc. But that's not where the blade's true strength lies. It's true power is its ability to collect and store energy so that Keira can feed off of it.

Starting with Consume Essence, this working allows the blade to reach out about a good fifty meters or so and collectively feed and absorb the negative emotions of others. Fear, anger, dread, all emotions that encompass the spectrum that is the dark side of the force. This power is then stored within the blade allowing Keira to draw power from it as well as continue fueling its own working.

Secondly there is the Force Drain working that plays a more active role. While some drain life workings and rituals are known to at times have a large area of effect, this one is strictly limited to the blade. Specifically when it cuts into wounding or killing another person or beast. When the blade injures a person, say a quick stab or slash. It doesn't just hurt them on a physical level, but on an ethereal one as well. It of course won't drain the entirety of your life force from a single swipe, it's more like the physical wound is proportionate to the astral wound. The energy collected from wounds and strikes of course are channeled into the blade and continue to feed itself and let Keira draw power from it.

Weaknesses. No matter what, this blade is still a few centimeters bigger than your standard gladius. So when dealing with opponents that have a longer reach there's always that obstacle when dealing with them. Hanmers, broad swords, various lightsabers, it's something to be mindful of when in a combat scenario. The blade being made of Beskar is of course tough enough to block attacks from heavy weapons, but we still don't recommend it due to the potential of being overpowered. Then of course is the blade's clear cut dark side aura. Unless you are actively focusing on suppressing it, any force sensitive person with half a brain is going to be able to sense this and be able to follow the darkness' strong aura attached to the blade.

Though most importantly is the hunger. The blade longs for the taste of flesh, the metallic flavor of blood, and the sweet ethereal life force of others. So much so that it needs these in order to function. Without them the blade starves and will go into a dormant state where it becomes your standard Beskad that can reflect blasters. It can of course be awoken once more by the slaying of another, but that is a heavy burden to bare in order to get the sword back into fighting condition. Furthermore if the blade is not fed every few weeks, it will call out to the user, almost speak to them through emotion to convey its longing for blood and death.

Also beware of force null fields such as void stone and Ysalamir, it too will turn the blade into a standard Beskad until it exits said field.

Summary. This sword is worthy of a warrior like Keira, and in tangent she is worthy of it. It's powers fuel her and she in turn fuels it by using the weapon. It's a symbiotic relationship where the two need one another to gain more power and slay their enemies.
