Angels of Demonsgate (The Young)

*WHERE

Demonsgate (planet)
Type: Terrestrial
Temperature: Hot
Atmosphere: Type I (breathable)
Hydrosphere: Arid
Gravity: Standard
Terrain: Volcanic plains
Length of Day: 31 standard hours Length of Year. 224 local days

Capsule: Contrary to its appearance. this planet possesses a temperate biosphere full of life. The ionized particles that orbit it bleed off into space, throwing off radiation across the spectrum, the visible portion of which falls primarily into the red. orange, and yellow wavelengths. making the debris attracted from the surrounding Rift simulate furious, writhing flames; hence, the planet's nickname: "Demonsgate”. In general, the planet has little surface water; the bulk of Demonsgate's water supply can be found beneath the surface of the planet. Many creatures thrive in that environment, however; an abundance of life forms burrow through the rock strata to the water underneath.

In addition. the planet suffers from extremely violent geologic upheaval. Volcanoes and underground lava floes strike the massive subterranean lakes and rivers, causing massive steam geysers to blast through to the surface.

*WHEN
Two months after the liberation of Demonsgate. The planet is still trying to pick up the pieces from the BR invasion from over a year ago and in the grip of a sith spawn plague. As the people of Demonsgate struggle to put the pieces together and the brave men and women of the Kathol Outback carry out humanitarian work, attempting to make help this embattled world.

In orbit above Demonsgate aboard the Nade Gitt

Demonsgate flared below through the air lock window BB was gazing out of. He hadn’t slept well in weeks, his dreams filled with the screams of those he had tended to and the ghosts of those who he wasn’t able to save. When he was a boy on Taris he only needed to live for himself. If danger was near he could simply run or hide from it. This was not the case anyone, he had a rank and a responsibility to his new compatriots. He was needed, and the wishes of a fifteen year old boy were light years away from the duties of the seventeen year old young man he had become. The “Hero” kid who had found a cure to the plague was needed.

Hero, BB thought. He had become a minor celebrity on the world, but in truth he had merely been lucky. Had he not been half Tarisian then the antibodies he had used to create the vaccine wouldn’t have been present in his blood. He too would have become Death Fiend and joined in the chaos they had wrought instead of now assisting in wiping them from existence.

Calming his mind, BB eased back onto the chair he had taken to sitting in. The Uukaabian has been kind to the people of Demonsgate. This ship newly in orbit was proof enough of that. BB knew their kindness was most likely born of guilt as it was their research center that may have been used to create the plague, but to him it didn’t matter. They were here to help in a time when it was sorely needed and that is what counts to him.

As he relaxed further into the chair he wished he could sleep. He had even tried to while the Starr was being loaded for another trip to the surface, but the General needed him. Fresh relief was on its’ way and he was to meet them here and escort them to the planet. So he waited like a good soldier, looking out the window upon the planet below in between chapters of the Uukaabian text book he was studying, desperate for a little rest.

Making sure her gear was ready how could she been such a fool and not been at this battle to put her battle medic skills to the test. Once again she asked herself this very simple question over and over again. One she couldn't come up with a clear answer but she was needed else where at that time. KNowing that maybe she could made a different in at less one or two other lives. Even then she wonder who would meet them here to great them. After all she didn't know that many in the order of yet or even if she was just wonder herself, picking up jobs her and there, even those her skills set was very limited but it was very valved. That was when she let herself wonder looking out at the stars, the way the ship was docking with the other one made it importable to see the planet below.

As she and other gather their gear. Couldn't help to know that there was more then medic on board, she had started a small talk with a machine and then there was an engineer that had just came fresh form the achemany.

As her eyes looked on to see the one that she would be looking for with the way her orders came form. As she looked for something that fit his looks. It was all down to a tee as she walked slow up to him.

"Dr. Bantam, I hope, I"m addressing you rightly. Her eyes wondering in both direction in case she had gotten him wrong.

"Call me BB, that whole doctor thing is honorary anyhow... and you are Fadeyka right or would you prefer Sargent?" BB said seeing her apprehension.

He had read how soldier types liked order and ranks so he tried his best to figure out how best to put her at ease.

"Well whatever you want me to call you welcome aboard." BB continued as he motioned to the hall beyond.

He lead her from the airlock down to the hangers on the lower decks. As they walked they passed by room after room filled with advanced medical equipment and patients receiving all types of care. Once at the lower hanger BB motioned over to his ship (The Shining Starr) that was about loaded for their trip back down to the surface.

"So how was your trip?" BB asked trying to make small talk.

BB is it now, will Fadeyka will be okay, no reason to be form all that jazz now.

Letting a smile slip her lips, as they walked together, seeing that there was almost there. Couldn't help but see all those that they was still helping even after such a time. Trying to wrap her head around the fact that she couldn't help but wanting to get right to work. That seem to be strange to her now days even those she was still having her struggles. No doubt that there was more then her going through this maybe this BB would be her saving grace. Even then she couldn't help but understand as he tried to make small talk.

Oh it was good, I guess nothing out of the ordanory happen, you know the same boring stuff.

"Yeah the road to Demonsgate is long a hell, if you excuse the pun. Glad to see your didn't run into any of the strange poodoo that can happen in the outback. Here we are at the bottom of the rabbit hole trying to deal help these people who have done nothing wrong except live on the force forsaken planet."

BB realized his tone may have sounded harsher than he meant so he was sure he looked at Fadeyka and gave her a warm smile to show there was no malus in his tone. The last month had been harsh on BB, having lucked into a cure for the plague he had been hailed as a hero and well didn't feel worthy of the accolades. While the other of their new faction had scattered to assess and protect their newly found protectorate BB had chosen to stay behind and help those here on Demonsgate.

Turning his mind back to the tasks at hand he lead Fadeyka aboard his ship and to a waiting ready room where he had refreshments and the like set up. On the holo screen was a 3D image of the town they were scheduled to visit and BB motioned over for Fadeyka to review the image saying.

"Cipot, our next stop. People in this area are in desperate need of care after a minor outbreak. You ready?"
