DESCRIPTION

Anandi is the name of the second Sith Sword to be created by the so-called Dark Forge of Castle Ne'tra owned by Isley Verd. Commissioned by Ahani Najwa, it is a standard Sith Sword forged with a unique twist; and is poised to serve its master admirably as she endeavors to master Form II: Makashi. Appearing as a rapier, the starting material utilized in the creation of Anandi is Desh-Terenthium: a lightweight alloy utilized in the creation of skyships. This particular metal was selected due to the side-effect that Sith Alchemy has upon the Swords it produces, which is an increase in weight to the point where great strength is required to wield them. As such, through utilizing Desh-Terenthium as the starting metal, the end result was a sword whose weight was about the average for a weapon of its type.

In terms of overall characteristics, Anandi mirrors a standard Sith Sword to the letter. To begin, it possesses a strong affinity for the Dark Side of the Force and also features a reversed, magnetic polarity. The reversal of its magnetic polarity allows the blade to act as a high-temperature superconductor, thereby allowing it to deflect blaster bolts and other such ordnance with ease. However, it is to be noted that, with a blade width as minute as Anandi's, this feature may very well see no use on the field of battle. On another note, the blade of Anandi is highly reflective, thereby allowing it to reflect laser weaponry much like a mirror. Of course, one of the most notable, standard features is its augmented, molecular structure; which allows it to resist the blades of lightsabers.

As aforementioned, Anandi has a strong affinity for the Dark Side of the Force; such that it naturally acts as a focal point for the energies of its master and a refiner for his or her control. However, unlike the more exceptional Sith Swords, this would not elevate the master of Anandi to a walking, talking nexus in the Dark Side. Despite this difference, the blade retains its relationship with force-based discharges of electricity. It naturally acts as a lightning rod, attracting and storing the energy within its length. Upon making contact with a physical object, or whenever the master so chooses, the stored energies are discharged with exceptional results. As a whole, Anandi does not differ much from a standard Sith Sword; though there is a single twist that was intentionally incorporated into its design.

Inspired by the client's own addiction to Death Sticks, Ixetal Cilona was literally infused into the tip of the blade at a molecular level. This allows for Anandi, upon piercing the flesh of an opponent, to cause mild hallucinations and therefore muddle an individual's ability to utilize the Force. It is to be noted that the effect of the hallucinations and force-muddling climbs with the amount of successful piercings that Anandi is able to make; as more and more of the drug is released into the victim's bloodstream. As a whole, Anandi is a beautifully-crafted Sith Sword which assumes the form of a rapier. Its behavior and features are that of a standard, Sith Sword; with the exception that it does not elevate its wielder to a nexus of Dark Side energies and its tip is infused with Ixetal Cilona at a molecular level.

Two points-
  • The Force nexus quality is something we only allow in exceptional blades, not typical ones, so if you could clarify or redact that line, I'd be obliged.
  • A dev thread must be at least 10 posts long; I respect the excellent work you've put into it, but tag me when you've made one more post each, please.
