As the HoloNet, the communications system spreading throughout the galaxy, from the rich worlds of the Core to the barren worlds of the Outer Rim, was streaming its regular programming, an advertisement would come on. It would be bland, not intending to wow anyone into buying anything, just saying the following words in a solemn, almost monotonous tone:
"Homask Shipping is currently looking for shipyards and shipbuilders to produce ships for its mercantile fleets. Applications for contracts will be accepted at the following HoloNet frequency (several numbers would then appear"
"We are also accepting job applications, as well as investors for our Initial Public Offering on standard time 53256."
