Strengths:
  • Prepare to target the main shield generator: Fulfilling its role as an armored assault walker are numerous weapons systems to combat those that may attempt to hinder their enemies, including three fire-linked quad medium laser cannons mounted on the 'chin' of the command head and the rear of the walker, four light repeating laser cannons positioned on the 'ears' and on the sides of the rear, and three light turbolaser cannons, one dual. Astonishingly, the walker can even use its durasteel footpads to crush smaller tanks and infantry.
  • That armor's too strong for blasters: The AT-ASW, instead of already strong durasteel, is constructed out of a deluge of durable materials such as titanium-reinforced alusteel, quadanium-reinforced durasteel, transparisteel, and turadium. All of these materials work in tandem to absorb or reflect lasers under the destructive potential of a standard turbolaser, garnering the walker serious protection against almost anything that an enemy force can muster against it.
Weaknesses:
  • Use your harpoons and tow cables, go for the legs: Even with two extra legs added to compensate for extra weight, the legs still remain the paramount weakness of an AT-ASW, and while the knee-joints have been reinforced to prevent light blaster fire from piercing it, tripping the armored walker with tow cables, or other means, still remains an extremely viable option.
  • Vulnerable underbelly: While the entire upper section is covered in a 'shell' of various alloys that prevent it from being pierced by anything under a turbolaser, the underbelly is still exposed due to the need for the walker's legs to be flexible, this leaves the servo motors and the systems that power the walker very vulnerable to enemy fire.
  • Slow Speed and Maneuverability: Weighing approximately 71 metric tons, the AT-ASW moves figuratively at a snails pace at best, one of the only walkers slower than a standard AT-AT, its maximum speed being 32 kilometers an hour. Even worse than this is its maneuverability, due to the fact that the walker has to individually position all six of its legs to initiate a complete one hundred eighty degree turn.
DESCRIPTION

The cousin of the AT-AT, the AT-ASW removed much of its ability to be a troop transport, including its rear vehicle bays and around half of its troop staging area. Instead it opts to arm itself with heavy ground weapons to completely obliterate an enemy force in all directions. Featuring a slightly larger and longer design, the All Terrain Armored Siege Walker has six legs instead of the standard four that is usually seen on AT-ATs.

Armed to the teeth with several variants of laser cannons, as well as multiple turbolasers and point defense laser canons, the walker is a force to be reckoned with, making up for the removal of the command 'head' being able to be angled by having weapons cover all directions, leaving no flank, save for the underbelly, unguarded for an enemy to exploit.

Complimenting this, the AT-ASW has two deflector shields, one of them only used to cover the command 'head if the main shield were to fall. This further protects it from laser fire, with its armored hull being able to do the exact same. But even with these strengths come terrifying weaknesses;

The legs are still the paramount vulnerability in the walker design, with the joints, though reinforced, still able to be pierced by heavy laser cannons, tow cables from enemy speeders can also still trip the walker if the pilot does not stop it in time. Another weakness being its still unarmored underbelly, where the servo motors and power plant are located for all to see.

Ironically, this walker is the only thing slower than an AT-AT, having an increased weight with a maximum speed of 32 kilometers per hour. It retains the same maneuverability as its sibling, it being very poor, due to the fact that each of the six legs have to individually position themselves so that the walker can turn.
