[SIZE=12pt]Availability: Unique. This unit will have members to accompany any of the royal family on official trips. The unit will also be present on Aldera to protect the Palace. This unit is unique to Aldera, and to House Organa. They are patterned after the Alderaan Royal Guard that House Organa also has sovereignty over. [/SIZE]

[SIZE=12pt]Once Arianna Organa was made Queen of Aldera it became important to establish protection for her and the royal family. This Unit fills that needs. T[/SIZE]here is one Captain of the Guard, Captain Lindsey who was trained by [member="Marcello Matteo"] on Alderaan. He is considered Elite. He oversees the training, and well-being of all members of the Guard.
[SIZE=12pt]The Royal Guard is comprised of [/SIZE]100 guardsman, 4 Lieutenants, and 1 Captain of the Guard. Individuals volunteer to serve, and are then put through a rigorous testing to challenge their physical fitness, and their mental acuity. The guard accompanies the Queen, or her family, on vacations, diplomatic missions, and social occasions. Their second responsibility is to guard the palace grounds, and thirdly the Aldera Crown Jewels. The guardsmen rotate through each of these duties, and then are given time off.
They wear this armor --- a gift from [member="Draco Vereen"] Knight-Errant of Aldera. Armor was given as gift here.
They are supplied blasters, and blaster rifles - Blaster or rifle, depending upon duty being performed
And for ceremonial purposes they will soon be outfitted with phridium swords.
