OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION
  • Intent: Codify Kenth's personal soldiers and mercenaries
  • Permissions: N/A

GENERAL INFORMATION
  • Unit Name: 1st Adjudicator Irregulars
  • Affiliation:
  • Classification: Air Assault Infantry
  • Description: Made up of former stormtroopers and soldiers from across the galaxy, the Irregulars are a veteran unit who have followed Kenth throughout his career as a mercenary. Originally the Adjudicator Security Troopers, they worked extensively in the core the men followed their commander faithfully into the Unknown Regions eventually serving the Final Dawn. Committing atrocities and serving the nefarious goals of the High Regent, Kenth racked with nightmares and guilt left the Dawn with his men. Disgraced mercenaries, they once again roam the Outer Rim, their crimson markings reminding them of the ill deeds committed by their hands.
COMBAT INFORMATION
  • Unit Size: Medium
  • Unit Availability: Rare
  • Unit Experience: Veteran
  • Equipment:
  • Combat Function: Trained as a air assault infantry and marines, the Irregulars specialize in rapid and mobile warfare, using dropships and light armoured vehicles as their main form of transport. Appearing out of the sky, they work well seizing towns, bases and air fields, holding them until the full weight of the Adjudicators reinforces them. Outside of combat and true to their mercenary roots, they are capable in working VIP protection, escorting and retrieving assets. Made up of 5 companies, the Irregulars will at maximum deploy 4 on the ground, with the 5th Company "Mariners" making up the marines which protect the ships they deploy from. On the ground the 2nd and 4th company act as the primary infantry companies with the 1st being the headquarters and the 3rd providing light armoured support using the TMP-1.
  • Composition
    • 1st Company "Headquarters"
    • 2nd Company "Reclaimer"
    • 3rd Company "Watchdogs"
    • 4th Company "Darkmoon"
    • 5th Company " Mariners"
Strengths
  • Air Mobile: Specializing in lightning warfare, the Irregulars when armed with a few transport craft, can do significant damage against enemy forces. Able to rapidly deploy from the air, destroy their targets and evacuate make them a dangerous foe.
  • Veterans: Many of these men served with or were trained by the original Adjudicator Troopers, with many high ranking members having remained with the mercenary since they first started out. They are well trained and have a plethora of experience to use.
Weaknesses
  • Lightly Armed: Being air mobile, the Irregulars are lightly armed with even their armoured vehicles being considered lackluster when it comes to soaking up damage. Without their transports, they will suffer greatly against any more heavilly armed foe.
  • Limited Range: The Irregulars can only travel as far as their transports can take them and as far as their logistics will supply them. This limits them to a certain range in which they can operate, going any further they lose their ariel advantage. Being made up of only a single battalion only further limits this, as if they spread too thin
HISTORICAL INFORMATION
The 1st Irregulars is what remains of the combat arm of the Adjudicators. Reduced now to a single battalion of 450 soldiers, the disgraced mercenaries followed their leader out of the Maw, keenly remembering what they did in the name of the Sith. Under the Final Dawn they acted as some of the elite in the HAND OF JUDGEMENT, proving their worth in boarding parties and as marines, it was here they moved away from the original Adjudicator Doctrine of working from large landing ships and towards light and mobile dropships. After years of service, many ranking members of the Adjudicators had been pushed to the limit, eventually departing the Dawn and the Maw altogether. The men have forgone unity in their armour after returning to their mercenary roots, each customizing their own for comfort, practicality or aesthetic. Their only unifying feature is the crimson and scarlet markings, used to remember their actions, they follow Kenth once more into the unknown, fighting freely as if redemption is beyond them.
