The ACS-207 Aerosolblaster, much like its cousin, the Acidthrower, was designed to create an alternate type of flamethrower, this one sprays aerosol gases at its targets hampering them in one or more ways based on the gas canister used. Some of the most common, and the ones provided by ArmaTech are Tranqarest, Forcebreaker, Sparkbee Honey, and Anti-Blaster, all filling different niches that a bounty hunter or assassin might need out in the field. Tranqarest is one of the most potent tranquilizers on the market, known to be able to keep even Jedi Knights unconscious. Forcebreaker Gas is known to be able to weaken or sever a Force User’s connection to the Force, hampering their abilities. Sparkbee Honey is a common and known Vonduun Crab Allergy, which if their allergy to Baffor Pollen is anything to go by can render the armor hazardous to the wearer depending on the dosage received. Anti-Blaster Aerosol is capable of rendering powerful blaster bolts into simply painful slaps that pass through the screen. For most gases meant to effect organic targets, the target has to inhale the gas, meaning that wearing a helmet will render the majority of gases useless.
The ammunition capacity is less than that of comparable flamethrowers, and it is known to have a slightly reduced range to its progenitor. The weapon’s cone of effect is one meter wide at its apex but the aerosol is known to linger relatively low to the ground and move with the wind, one of the key drawbacks to using such a weapon.
