Ark Sat with his feet on the dash of his prized ship, The Emerald Kingfisher , his pride and joy. Looking over to the co pilots seat, his new friend, Vassara Raxis sat. This wasn't one of his adventures that he usually accompanied, this was just a regular job. He was going to pick up some spices from Narr Shaddaa, then leave undetected. Couldn't be easier.

"So, you like her?" Ark proposed the question to Vassara, hoping she approved of his top notch dynamic cruiser.

The dashboard blinked with different buttons and shades of green red and blue. The central HUD of the ship was a dark green, displaying charts of republic/sith traffic through parts of the galaxy, along with enforcement records from nearby colonies and planets. Overall, the ship was modified to possibly be as illegal as illegal could get.

Vassara herself was no stranger to ships. Having piloted freighters since a young age to and from Corellia she could fly just about anything. But this ship? This ship was real beauty, a smugglers best friend. The type that gun runners and spice smuggler drooled over. Entering with a sweeping bow Vassara cracked a wicked smile in Arks direction.

"Oh she'll do Cap'n, permission to take copilot?"

Silas looked around, shambling behind her and dead tired. He'd stayed up all night helping her stash the ill gotten goods into Arks secret compartments. Since the modifications this was to be the maiden run.

"Yeah but where the fraks the stim caf at?" Silas queried, his voice grating like gravel.

Ark Tallen

Quartermaster of the Expeditionary fleet.
"Permission granted" Ark spoke with glee. he was still as a child, and he looked upon his ship like a new toy.

Turning around in his chair to Silas, Ark made a remark, "Fresh out buddy, I have rum, if that kind of thing suits you" Followed with a chuckle. "Coming up on the smugglers moon"

The ship dropped out of hyper drive and entered sublight engines. The planet glimmered with orange light, that peeked like cracks through the moons crust, clambering forth to all the ships and such that wished to see it for its glory. Only a true scoundrel could enjoy a place like this, it was a moon of those who fought for their own survival, no do-gooders, and no jedi. Any jedi found here was either falling, or close to it.

approaching closer to the planet, Ark weaved around all the space stations and trade ships, finally reaching a few miles before atmosphere.

"This is where I show you the true potential of this masterpiece" Ark spoke to Vassara with a wink.

Clicking a few buttons on the console to his right, Ark waited for something from the central panel.

crrrrchk

"Dynamic vessil: Lambent Bow: your verification codes have been accepted. welcome to Narr Shadaa" A female voice spoke through the intercom.

Ark let out a laugh as if it was the first time he pulled that trick. "That's right, my baby can forge verification codes" He spoke with pride, boasting it's magnificence.

"Ah nice!"

Vassara leaned into the controls, letting her gaze wander over them. A wary eye was open on the scanners and just in case her skilled hands flipped switches and toggles, running a quick shortwave burst scan. If it worked it would not pick up attention as it was commonly used to get a short range route through any obstacles that might be in the way to orbit.

"Well looks like.....hold up!"

Vassaras eyes narrowed as she read the scans. There was something there, but not quite there.

"You might wanna send those codes a little quicker, they got some kind of cloaking device on one of those vessels and they're real close!"

Ark Tallen

Quartermaster of the Expeditionary fleet.
"Hmph, let em come" Ark said with no worries. Hitting a button, the ship began to boost into atmosphere, rattling yet handling with ease.

Shooting through the glare of the sun hitting the air of the atmosphere, suddenly the sky turned black, and they had reached the dark side of Nar Shadaa. Docking space 136429 was the destination, and Ark began the descent. The dash lit up with new colors now, informing Ark of the current condition of his ship. Swiveling in his chair, Ark looked at another screen, which looked like a radar system, but glowed with a bright green and reported activities of nearby cruisers and such. But now there was 3 green blips that followed the Emerald Kingfisher's exact flight pattern.

"We're being tailed. We should get down to the moon, its easy to get lost there."

Ark knew that as soon as he put the ship into advanced sublight, it wouldn't take their aggressors long to realize that a getaway was in progress, and they would either open fire, or follow. Putting a hand on his chin, Ark cracked his neck, letting out a breath, he was in his element now. Reaching forward, he flipped two switches on the dash and then cranking up a dial. The ship roared to life as the prototype engine kicked in, and a slight vibration could be felt through the floor panels.

"75% power to main sublight engine. Preparing for fast descent" Ark spoke informing his co-pilot what was going to take turn.

Putting one hand on a lever next to his seat, Ark slowly pushed it forward, kicking the engines in. A sound which could have been mistaken for blaster fire was heard from across the hall at the engine room, the sound of the sublight engine bursting with speed.

The ship shot off in an instant down toward the planet, Ark holding the manual steering handles closely, and maneuvering the ship down toward the planet. Ark weaved in and out of the traffic that Narr Shadaa was known for, getting closer and closer to the dark city below. Ark wasn't very good at mush else than piloting, and it took all his concentration. Frigates and speeders alike, they were no match for the handling of Arks beautiful ship, turning and speeding passed all of them as if they weren't even there. No doubt, eventually someone might recognize the infamous ship and back off.

"Vassara look at the panel next to me and tell me how far away the incoming patrol is please" This was the only point in which Ark was too concentrated to make a stupid joke for his own amusement.
