A Deal's A Deal

This was more than a routine trip to Demonsgate.

This was a trip that had to be made. This was a trip vital to Isley's pride as a Mandalorian. According to his sources, a legendary relic had been recovered and restored: the fabled Slave I owned by Boba Fett. This was a treasure that plucked at the heartstrings of the Mandalorian: a find that Isley Verd simply had to have. So, through the connections of [member="Miss Blonde"] and the Black Ties, a meeting had been arranged. Demonsgate would play the location; in particular the refinery owned by Isley's own Arakyd Industries.

It was no trap, of course, as the only personnel present were members of the Syndicate. The Mandalorian wanted the so-called @Ke'Cholo to feel confident that their deal would be on the up-and-up. He wanted the man to know that Isley was only interested in procuring the treasure through...legitimate means. Bartering. Isley was a man of tremendous wealth and resources, so surely there must be something...or somethings that Ke'Cholo would have wanted.

So, whilst standing within a simple conference room, Isley waited for the other's arrival. Only time would tell what sort of deal they would make.

''What have I gotten myself into?'' Ke'Cholo thought as he made his way to the conference room, [member="Miss Blonde"] at his side. He checked underneath his coat, his phrik Westar-34's were there. Ke'Cholo didn't plan to become violent, but history told him that these Mandolorian types were fond of using blasters.

Ke'Cholo would press the door to the conference room open and step inside. He was wearing his usual mercenary equipment, he had in fact just got done escorting a large freighter full of spice to Nal Hutta. Ke'Cholo recognized the odd man out '[member="Isley Verd"]' was the name he had been given. Ke'Cholo presented an outstretched hand to greet the man. He had a feeling this was the man to sell the ship to.

During all this, Ke'Cholo pondered how much he actually cared about the ship. To him, it was a legendary bounty hunter's ship, to Isley and the Mandolorians it was like a family heirloom. Ke'Cholo felt he should pass along the ship...

...for the right price.

Having put the deal together and introducing the two parties to one another Miss Blonde was just happy to help a friend out and make sure her associate KeCholo was to be treated fairly for the sale. Isley was a silver tongued devil and while he was the kind of demon that would hold up his end of the bargain it didn't mean he wouldn't hustle you, or destroy you. Poor Subach. But that was a story for another time.

Stepping inside the room with the freakishly large Duros the woman's eyes fell on Isley and her eyes light up and a smile stretched across her face. Isley was one of the few people who knew who she really was, after the facial reconstruction and shift in the force Isley was a trusted friend.

"Isley, so good to see you." The woman said as she approached him and shortly gave him a quick hug.

Looking him up and down he had visibly aged while she still maintained her youth and beauty, but inside the woman had gotten old with him.

"God we got old." Miss Blonde said with a chuckle.

"Anyway let's have a seat and you guys can have a little chat. Can I get you both anything? Drinks? Food? Also this area does allow smoking, so just let me know if I can fetch you anything." Miss Blonde would then take a seat at the conference table and wait for the two do the whole manly man routine like Apollo and Rocky.

Before Isley could speak or respond to the woman his phone went off in a blaze of digital "Funky Town" and apparently that was the ring tone for emergencies. Because as soon as she knew it the mando had to excuse himself and he swiftly asked Patricia to handle the sale on his behalf. Blonde would of course do so for an old friend and former employer so she quickly sat down at the conference table and looked over to [member="KeCholo"] with a smile. It was time to get down to business.

"I guess someone had to take him to funky town." Miss Blonde said with a chuckle.

"But let me assure you that I am more than capable of handling this sale on Isley's behalf. I know his assets inside and out and I will get you a good deal. So I'm sure you have a list of items that you would like?" Blonde asked the man in a very casual voice.

Hopefully Isley's absence wouldn't make this deal fall apart. It was in everyone's best interest after all to make sure the crusaders could get the artifact in question and for KeCholo to get paid stupid amounts of money and gear.

''Ah, I was hoping to get to know that [member="Isley Verd"] fellow.'' Ke'Cholo sat down in front of [member="Miss Blonde"] and pulled out a wooden box. He opened it, and inside were several premium cigars. He took one out, shoved it in his mouth, cupped his other hand over it and lit it. Once the tobacco product was lit, he turned the box towards Blondie and gestured to it. He invited her to have one. After this, he retrieved a datapad and opened it. Activating a file, several images were projected onto the air above it.

''Here is the beskar armor I'd like.'' Ke'Cholo showed blueprints of custom armor. http://vignette2.wik...=20150308143742

''And here are the crushgaunt I'm looking to be made.'' http://i47.tinypic.com/x4j0hl.jpg

''I'd also like a replica of the ship with .7 hyperdrive, passive cloaking, and a seismic charge launcher. Lastly, I'd like an amulet that makes me invisible to the physical plain.''

Miss Blonde looked over the man's list of demands and personally she thought they were slightly crazy, but then again Isley was that special kind of crazy as well and knowing his abilities he could probably handle them. But she did need to bring him down a little bit.

"Let's be real here for a moment. A point seven hyperdrive can not happen on a ship that big, your average interceptor has a two or a one point five hyperdrive. Especially with a passive cloaking and additional armor this ship will be terribly slow, and currently your hyperdrive is a one, which is a miracle as is due to Boba Fett. So that being said I think sticking with the current class one is best. I'll see about the cloaking but I don't think we should make any hard promises on it. But as for your force pendant and armor, I can certainly say that is doable and we can make it happen." Miss Blonde would then refuse the cigars politely and smile.

"Thoughts so far?" she asked the man.

''I've seen smaller ships with .7 hyperdrives. Beskar will slow it down, so that's why I want mandolorian steel. However, if push comes to shove, the least I'll take is a 1.5 hyperdrive and titanium plating. Stygium cloaking isn't a stretch, I've seen other hunters pull it off. I can even contribute credits if need be. Also, can you pull off the beskar armor in a beskar'kandar style without making it power armor? I don't mind the extra weight. Also, I'd like the crushgaunts to have flamethrowers, blasters, grappling hooks...you know the drill, Blondie.''

Ke'Cholo leaned back in his chair and checked the security feed on the ship. He then turned back to [member="Miss Blonde"] who started back speaking.

"Well the thing about mandalorian steel is that it can sometimes mess with a Stygium cloak, no idea what it is. But most of the time one has to pick between a Stygium cloak or mando iron plating. If you can pick between one of the other than we are in business. Personally I think you should go with the cloak, it's a lot more useful in terms of escaping or sneaking into places. Which in our line of work goes further than some steel plating." Miss Blonde would then shift the conversation forward.

"Tell you what, i'll even take that invisibility pendant and make it into a knife for you. So you have a sturdy lightsaber resistant knife that will give you some invisibility and do some damage. Does that sound square to you?" Miss Blonde said with a very chipper smile to hopefully get this deal over and done with.

She liked KeCholo but it made sense for the slave one to be passed on to mando hands, they tended to be Madonna's about the whole don't touch our stuff crap. They sucked pretty hard in that aspect

''Hmmm, you're right Blondie. I think I'll take the cloaking, but with a condition: She's got to be the fastest around, I need to be able to outrun anyone this side of...anywhere. That knife sounds like a good idea, but will it affect the effectiveness of the invisibility pendant? If so, just give me the pendant. Also, can you guarantee the gloves and armor will be good? I've heard you're just getting into Beskar smithing, but they have to be good quality.''

Ke'Cholo sat back and stared into [member="Miss Blonde"]'s eyes.

"We have a deal then." Miss Blonde looked KeCholo back in his eyes and smiled.

"I'll see what I can do about the knife, and as for the beskar Isley and his people will smith something fine and ripe as rain for you. I'll handle this personally and see to it you are paid. Let's take a ride over to Dathomir and drop off the slave one. And get you paid, or I can go myself. Either way you can trust me, you know where my operations are and I wouldn't try to screw you over." Miss Blonde would then extend her hand to make sure they had a solid deal for the ship.

Ke'Cholo stood up and shook the extended hand. He smiled and puffed on his cigar as he did so, this was a good deal. He would then grab and close the wooden box on the table, shoving it back into his satchel.

''I'll let you ride her over to Dathomir. Just tell them Mandos to get my my stuff quick, I don't like waiting. Make sure to tell them I didn't take the chair out, word is it's the last original piece of the ship.'' Ke'Cholo would smile at [member="Miss Blonde"] and lead her outside.

Outside, Ke'Cholo would open the ship and walk inside. He retrieved the few possessions he stored inside, namely his plasma rifle, coat, Ed, and a few other things. He would also empty the cargo hold of the few things inside there. He looked around at the vessel, this would perhaps be the last time he saw her. Ke'Cholo began to walk back outside, but before he left retrieved an old knife from his belt and inscribed something underneath the control panels.

''Ke'Cholo was here.''

Stepping back outside with shades on, he tossed the ignition key to Blondie. He turned around and stared at the almighty vessel once more, he stared at the elegant crafting of the original parts and the newly installed weapons. Ke'Cholo didn't tear up, but if there ever was a time he got close, it was now.

He turned back to Miss Blonde.

''Good luck.'' he said, his voice unusually wavering.

As Blonde stepped outside the shield generator kept the two people from being damaged from the environment, she looked up towards KeCholo after he went to grab his stuff. She'd give him a moment in the ship and once it was passed the short four foot eleven woman gave seven foot tall duro a pat on the back.

"You're doing the right thing. It's a good deal." Miss Blonde rubbed the man's back in comfort for a moment before boarding the ship.

Sitting at the control panel the woman took a deep breath, started the machine up, then went off into space with it. Looking back at the surface of the planet the woman sighed then looked forward towards the cosmos. Imputing coordinates the woman set the hyperdrive and took the Slave One for a one way trip straight to Dathomir. To the hands of [member="Isley Verd"]
