Attestation of the First Declaration of Moff Ravraa Vyshraal of Shili, 5:00 hours after the end of the Togruta War.
---

“Men, women, droids, and other forms of life. I, uh, stand here as your Moff, app-
Damnitall.

Let me be real with, yall. Shili is my home, I was born here, went a-runnin’ here and there all throughout my life. But pa always, always brought me back here. I know these woods, these flats, I know the marshlands ‘nd the swamps! I grew up pulling leeches off of my ankles, I know Shili. I know my people. I know what it means to grow up without much to your name, not without house, without new clothin’. I know what it’s like for the newest outland to come rollin’ in and subjugate me and my kin. I’ve bled as you have.

Yea, you know, I figure we got a history for the Republic, eh? The storytellers always told us so, and I get it. I know, it feels right, that feels like Shili, that feels like our folk. They are good people, don’t get me wrong. They’re nice, kind souls. But they aren’t what we need. We need the Imperials, we need the stability. There’s hellfire waitin’, just past the Run. You can’t smell the smoke quite yet, but it’s coming. I’ve seen it, I’ve fought it. It’s comin’, but I promise you, all of yall, I will lay my life down for this world.

I am no king, no blackheart. I’m Ravraa Vyshraal, son of Zohlees. I am just like you, a Togruta.

I want to make a ruling, that’s how you do this, yea? Just say it and it works? ‘Uppose there’s some actual process but-eh, do it later.

The Togruta War was a vicious wound on our world, it cut deep. But we harbor no traitors, we harbor no ill will. We fight at the end of the day for what we believe in, we fight for our family, our kin, our lives. I know that. From the Republic of Shili came some of our bravest souls, from the Shili Sovereign Alignment came some of our bravest souls. We killed each other like animals in the field, over what? Ideology? Borders? Nations?

We are more than that. We are Shili. We are Togruta.

I am issuing a ruling.

All POWs from the Togruta War shall be freed, given their citizenship in full, assets returned. Your lives will not change, you’re still our brothers and sisters. Veterans programs, forgiveness policies, and recovery shelters will be constructed with the assistance of the New Imperial Order. Today, also, will be marked as Akulheart Day, where we will come to pay our respects to both sides, both groups that bled for what they thought would be the better for the homeworld. A statue will be constructed in the center of Corvala, showing a Republican and Sovereign soldier holding hands, walking forward, to the future.

May the Universe look kindly on the World of Shili.”
