Following what can only be called a controversial announcement from the Silver Concord over the new political alliance between themselves, The Sith Empire and the Confederacy of Independent Systems, tempers ran high among both government and non-governmental populace captivated across the holonet.
Across Silver Space there has been a reported upsurge of protesting and in some cases rioting as many struggles to understand the new political movement that their world leaders have set into motion. Emergency services claim that demand has increased and that many of the injuries have been sustained between breakouts of violence between those for or against the controversies.
It has not yet been made clear to the public however where the Order of the Silver Jedi take a stance in regard to the Concord's direction of leadership. Through an interview with one individual who wished not be named, it is understood that the head of the Silver Jedi has spoken against the Alliance in a personal statement to those within the Order itself, however, no statements have been issued to the general public, nor has there been any response by Concord representatives in accordance to this rumour.
In Galactic News today, political aggressions have risen to greater heights since the emergence of the triumvirate. A public statement has been made by the Galactic Alliance in response to the plea of Ipalli Torru, a Concordian Senator most frequently taking the medias spotlight of recent days for his participation and vocal supporting of the triumvirates establishment.
In response to the public statement made by Adhira Chandra of the Galactic Alliance, the Silver Concord has offered a formal response from the office of Senator Penelope Coldwell; She had this to say:
"The Galaxy is in a dire state of turbulence and where political relations are being put to the test, it is not the desire of the Concord to see a conflict with our neighbours of the Alliance. The values that the Galactic Alliance portrays are very similar to our own, and as two of the leading democratic nations today, it is my hope that diplomacy does not falter in our continued relations".
When asked about the New Imperial Order's connection to the Galactic Alliance, Senator Coldwell declined any further comments.
Today marks the fourth consecutive day of congress for the Senate, held upon the capital world of Commenor. Within Commenor's capital Chasin City, tensions are visible and security appears to have been heightened accordingly.
